TeraRecon settles suit against Fovia

Advanced visualization firm TeraRecon of San Mateo, CA, has settled a 3D imaging technology lawsuit it filed in 2005 against volume-rendering technology firm Fovia.

The suit claimed that Palo Alto, CA-based Fovia was developed with business plans and computer source code taken from TeraRecon. The settlement requires Fovia to license certain intellectual property that belongs to TeraRecon and not to assert any claims against this intellectual property, as well as to pay royalties for past and future business activities.
