Carestream releases CR-ITX 560 compact CR unit

Carestream Health has begun shipments of its CR-ITX 560 compact computed radiography (CR) system in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Availability is expected later this year in China and other countries for the system, which combines a tabletop CR system from Carestream with a portable x-ray generator from Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA.
