Stereotaxis, Siemens extend partnership

Image-guided interventional surgery firm Stereotaxis and Siemens Medical Solutions have signed a three-year extension to their joint development agreement.

In addition to strengthening the coordination of the sales, marketing, and service organizations globally, the extension will result in a collaboration to explore clinical applications beyond the cardiology market, according to Stereotaxis of St. Louis.

Siemens and Stereotaxis are also introducing a technology trade-in program for U.S. hospitals with older-generation cardiac catheterization laboratories.
