Imaging Biometrics touts biomarker study

Advanced visualization software developer Imaging Biometrics is highlighting a study that shows the accuracy and reproducibility of an important imaging biomarker in the treatment of brain cancer.

The study, conducted by researchers at the Medical College of Wisconsin, was published in the American Journal of Neuroradiology (June 11, 2015). Its goal was to determine the repeatability of relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV) measurements in patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme.

Lead study author Dr. M.A. Prah and colleagues found that standardized rCBV (sRCBV) proved the most reproducible of measurements used to evaluate brain tumors. sRCBV measures can be tracked with Imaging Biometrics' IB Neuro software for MR perfusion analysis.
