The RSNA expects to draw crowds to a panel discussion of five presenters representing radiology practices implementing the meaningful use requirements of the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act to adopt electronic records and receive U.S. government stimulus funds.

Session panelists represent radiology practices in the mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest, West, and Southwest regions of the U.S. These panelists will discuss the challenges of achieving stage 1 meaningful use compliance with existing vendor products that have been certified by a U.S. Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB).

Panel members will also discuss where their practices and hospitals are in terms of complying with meaningful use criteria, and what they have had to do or are planning to do to achieve this.
