MedQuist

(Booth 7113) MedQuist of Mount Laurel, NJ, will introduce the integration of Inland Imaging's RadWorkFlow product with its own SpeechQ front-end speech recognition application, a productivity move to help reduce multiple manual steps in the radiology study process and shorten the time to report delivery.

RadWorkFlow is designed to accelerate and track radiology studies from order through interpretation, granting healthcare organizations consolidated access to critical operational data from disparate RIS/PACS worklists and across multiple sites. It aggregates worklists from a variety of different systems at different sites into a single enterprise-wide workflow plan.

RadWorkFlow accepts studies from multiple systems and logically queues those studies to the appropriate radiologist for interpretation based on site-defined rules, the company said. In addition, stat orders are sped through the queue, and lost studies are eliminated.

RadWorkFlow also covers critical test results management (CTRM) and peer review/quality assurance tracking, provides dashboards and business metrics reporting, and facilitates technologist communication, the company said.

Integrated with MedQuist's SpeechQ, RadWorkFlow helps to reduce report turnaround time because the speech-recognized report is immediately reviewed and signed by the radiologist, then routed through RadWorkFlow back to the requesting organization and physician, according to the company.

RadWorkFlow is currently available in the U.S. and Canada.
