ThinAir Data

RIS and speech recognition software developer ThinAir Data will be showing updated versions of SkyRIS and TeleRIS.

SkyRIS is designed for standard hospital and imaging center RIS implementations, and includes robust HL7 interface capability.

TeleRIS is designed specifically for teleradiology companies and radiology groups who are providing service under multiple contracts. It allows partitioning of the various patient sets in addition to providing various licensing, credentialing, and workflow management tools, according to Los Angeles-based ThinAir Data.

Both products now offer integrated Web-based dictation and transcription functionality in addition to integrated speech recognition. ThinAir Data has also updated its inbound DICOM interface which automatically creates orders in the RIS from demographic information contained in images sent to the main PACS server by remote facilities.

ThinAir Data solutions are available as capital purchase items or on pay-per-report pricing models. For pay-per-report customers, ThinAir Data also offers to host the solution. This option allows customers to use ThinAir Data's RIS solutions with minimal up-front investment, the company said.
