UltraRad

UltraRad will feature its UltraGateway Lite and UltraAudit offerings in its RSNA booth.

UltraGateway Lite is a Windows-based system for DICOM image routing. Suited in particular for remote locations sending images to a primary site, UltraGateway Lite features flexible, rule-based delivery, as well as DICOM compression and encryption, according to the West Berlin, NJ-based vendor.

UltraAudit provides HIPAA compliance tracking, automated data validation reporting, distributed and advanced reporting on DICOM and HL7, and user tracking information, UltraRad said. The database-driven package employs a business intelligence reporting system from Microstrategy.

UltraRad will also present version 7.0 of its UltraView image display software. The new version features enhanced viewing capabilities and a new DICOM back end using UltraRad's UltraGateway product, according to the vendor.

UltraView 7.0 also includes improved DICOM support and can function as a standalone DICOM PACS viewer. It can also be upgraded to support a multiuser, Web-based environment, UltraRad said. Additional options include orthopedics support, multiplanar reformatting (MPR)/maximum intensity projection (MIP), DICOM print, advanced MPR/MIP, 3D volume, and other diagnostic tools.
