The scanner is based on flat-panel digital detector technology and includes an image processing engine capable of processing 1,024 images per rotation.

The company is targeting the scanner at dental practices that seek to perform in-office surgical implant procedures. Clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is pending.
