(Booth 4583) Thinking Systems will debut new PET/CT and cardiac imaging functions for its ThinkingPACS line at this year's RSNA meeting.

2007 10 24 11 57 11 706In its latest version of ThinkingPACS, the St. Petersburg, FL-based firm has included enhanced support for PET/CT fusion. New features include radiology- or nuclear medicine-centric views for physicians with different training levels; simultaneous display of CT, PET, and fused images with multiple window/level settings; and shortcut keys for window/level preset adjustment.

These features are available on both its ThinkingPACS workstation software and ThinkingWeb Web server, according to the firm.

Thinking Systems has also introduced new cardiac imaging and reporting functions for ThinkingPACS, including template-driven, structured reporting for nuclear cardiology and echocardiography; multiple gated acquisition scan (MUGA) processing; phase analysis for SPECT and MUGA nuclear cardiac studies; and simultaneous processing and display of both attenuation and motion-corrected and uncorrected nuclear cardiac studies.
