(Booth 3959) Medweb highlights for this year's RSNA meeting include upgrades to its Dashboard application and a 3D/4D WebPACS offering.

2007 10 24 11 52 45 706Medweb Dashboard has now become a secure caching active worklist that provides users with a customized view of their current individual workflows, as well as a global view of the enterprise, according to the San Francisco-based firm.

The company will also showcase a 3D/4D WebPACS offering for radiologist workstations: radiologists will be able to employ real-time 3D rendering tools and switch between 2D, 3D, and 4D views, Medweb said. It also features one-click segmentation, vessel analysis, and sculpting features.

In addition, Medweb will discuss a PACS rental service, which can allow facilities to implement a Web-based RIS/PACS network for as little as $500 per month.

The company will also discuss its digital imaging capabilities, including two versions of PACS-enabled desktop computed radiography (CR) employing Alara's CRystalView CR system. Each is driven by a laptop, according to Medweb.

In addition, Medweb will again highlight its Global Teleradiology Support Node (GTSN), which provides a single point of access for monitoring and maintaining a network of Medweb servers and modalities.
