Enterprise imaging firm Visage Imaging will showcase artificial intelligence (AI) technology at next week's RSNA 2017 meeting in Chicago.

The company said it will highlight the benefits of its graphics processing unit-based architecture for combining AI research and AI-assisted diagnostic interpretation on the same platform. In addition, Visage will present both internally developed AI algorithms and third-party algorithms from academic institutions running on its Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform.

The works-in-progress AI technology for Visage 7 is scheduled for release in the first half of 2018, according to the vendor.
