SST Group plans to unveil its new DICOM image delivery system at RSNA 2015.
The DMC-EZ Hybrid e400 is designed to create hard-copy CDs, DVDs, and USBs for patient images, as well as send images electronically to patients, referring physicians, and other facilities from a single user interface.
All activity is recorded in audit logs for HIPAA compliance, SST said.
The receiver decrypts information using a secure password, and the electronic patient file containing the protected health information opens on the user's desktop.
