Nuance upgrades PowerScribe 360

Speech recognition and software developer Nuance Communications has added speech recognition accuracy and workflow enhancements to PowerScribe 360.

Built on the same technology as Dragon Medical 12, the latest version allows radiologists to navigate changing reimbursement models by creating actionable, structured reports. It includes the automated integration of DICOM Structured Report data, such as radiation dose, ultrasound measurements, and other clinical information.

PowerScribe 360 also integrates the peer-review process and automates the incorporation of information from other systems, such as contrast volumes from power injectors, Nuance said.

Other features of PowerScribe 360 include advanced medical speech recognition, clinical language understanding, and flexible templating, integrated search functionality, and analytics tools.
