Double Black launches new display calibration products By AuntMinnie.com staff writers
November 27, 2012 -- Monitor distributor Double Black Imaging has introduced new display calibration software and services at the 2012 RSNA meeting. The X-Cal Web Calibration Suite provides automatic DICOM calibration and display quality assurance for the firm's LCD monitors via the Internet. X-Cal consists of two components: a local agent and a network administrative package that are both accessible via the Web. The combination facilitates remote calibration to the DICOM grayscale display function and monitoring from a central workstation, sends service notifications to the central workstation or administrator, and allows the administrator to adjust and perform DICOM 3.14 Calibration on each LCD from the remote location, as well as other functions.
Double Black is also offering new mobile Web-based calibration software and Virtuoso calibration service for expert LCD calibration.
