Novarad expands Diagnostic Suite By AuntMinnie.com staff writers
November 27, 2012 -- RIS/PACS firm Novarad has introduced new modules to expand the functionality of its Diagnostic Suite of imaging applications, PACS, and RIS at the 2012 RSNA meeting in Chicago. NovaPACS now includes virtual colonoscopy with 3D, multiframe views, "hands-free" fly-through control capable of displaying six simultaneous views, auto zoom, and focus on the endoscopic location. The cardiac package was expand to enable automatic vessel finding, and cross-sectional or curved multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) vessel views. Screen shot captures are automatically saved to the PACS.
NovaRIS Billing now allow users to more easily examine unbilled procedures and handle claims, explanations of benefits, batch processing, and electronic data exchange.
