Imorgon unveils enhanced image management software By AuntMinnie.com staff writers
November 26, 2012 -- Ultrasound image management firm Imorgon is launching enhancements to its IntegratedUltrasound software at this week's RSNA 2012 meeting in Chicago IntegratedUltrasound is based on DICOM and HL7, and is designed to improve the efficiency and image quality of ultrasound by reducing the time required to perform exams and report data, according to the company.
The new enhancements include a report accelerator that feeds DICOM Structured Report data from a scanner into the Imorgon server, parsing the data and transferring it into dictation system report templates, according to Imorgon. Its autopopulation capabilities eliminate the need to dictate ultrasound measurements and data from handwritten reports, improving accuracy and patient safety.
Main Street Radiology in New York City said it will install report accelerator to boost workflow efficiency.
