November 22, 2012 -- At the 2012 RSNA meeting, Sony Electronics will continue on the theme of organic light-emitting diode technology (OLED) introduced this summer.
Sony will present an OLED image display system as a work-in-progress that was designed specifically for the radiology market. The company's first medical-grade OLED monitor, the 25-inch PVM-2551MD, has been in use for a variety of surgical procedures since it was introduced this summer, according to the company.
Sony will also showcase its full line of radiology displays, digital recorders, and printers.
