November 22, 2012 -- Medical imaging firm Analogic will showcase its new Quantum Technology on its BK Medical Flex Focus 500 interventional ultrasound system at the 2012 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
In addition to image quality and contrast resolution improvements, Quantum Technology offers new grayscale maps and image presets to simplify setup and operation, according to the vendor. Its Vector Flow Imaging mode allows angle-independent visualization of blood flow, while an advanced color Doppler mode is designed to boost spatial resolution for improving the visualization of either superficial or deep structures, Analogic said.
