At the RSNA 2012 meeting, workflow software developer PeerVue will tout additional features of its Qualitative Intelligence and Communication System (QICS) software to help radiologists streamline workflow.

PeerVue has added physician quality reporting system (PQRS) functionality to QICS, which is designed to identify reimbursement bonus opportunities in accordance with departmental business rules and PQRS requirements.

The system alerts staff and provides instructions for follow-through to avoid penalties. QICS also provides summary reporting necessary for documenting events for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
