SourceHOV to launch x-ray preservation program By AuntMinnie.com staff writers
November 15, 2012 -- At the 2012 RSNA meeting, clinical image management firm SourceHOV will introduce a new "x-ray preservation program" for legacy x-ray images that require long-term retention and may be in jeopardy of degradation.
SourceHOV will offer a program to assess the potential of image loss due to film breakdown and to preserve these images for future use.
The program includes film digitization, image indexing, image storage, image viewing, and protected health information standards.
