Software developer ETIAM plans to introduce its new zero-footprint ETIAM Viewer later this month at the 2012 RSNA meeting.
The universal Web-based DICOM viewer runs in PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android environments and comes integrated into the company's ETIAM-Connect cross-enterprise medical imaging platform.
Based on HTML 5, the new viewer is designed to enable staff radiologists, referring physicians, and patients to view images and imaging-related data. It provides enhanced viewing tools such as a timeline for accessing prior images, zoom/pan window features, line measurements, and cine review.
