November 15, 2012 -- Maxant Technologies will show its new Intersect dual-format digital/analog medical image viewing system at this year's annual RSNA meeting.
With a built-in DICOM gateway to access and display PACS images, the unit's digital display doubles as a high-brightness lightbox that's automatically optimized for simultaneous viewing of hard-copy images.
The PC/display also features a split-screen option for viewing worklists and multimodality digital images in real-time for side-by-side comparison with prior hard-copy exams.
The unit is configurable to support 3- to 5-megapixel monochrome monitors for higher-resolution viewing.
