Flow offers a unified reading workflow with assignments and allocations, a universal worklist, and enhanced critical workflows, according to the vendor. It also makes use of the company's InteleViewer diagnostic reading and reporting capabilities and includes embedded speech recognition and structured reporting with Intelerad's Multi-Method Reporting software.
Intelerad has also incorporated embedded multispecialty workflow for mammography, as well as 3D imaging and fusion (multiplanar reformatting/maximum intensity projection). A number of communication tools are also included, such as instant messaging, the company's InteleConnect Web or app-based results delivery technology, and a quality improvement suite with critical results, peer review, and teaching file management.
Flow is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2013. The company will feature the software at next month's 2012 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
