3DISC launches compact CR unit

Computed radiography (CR) manufacturer 3DISC of Daejeon, Korea, plans to introduce a new compact CR unit at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna, Austria.

FireCR is compact and lightweight and can be configured for nearly all clinical applications. The unit provides throughput of 73 plates per hour and can be wall-mounted if needed. It can also be used with mobile x-ray equipment. It comes with the company's Quantor workstation software, according to 3DISC.
