Numa debuts dose reporting software at RSNA 2016

Numa introduced new reporting software for patient radiation dose at RSNA 2016 in Chicago.

The web-based NumaStatus software allows users to create DICOM-compliant patient radiation dose reports from anywhere in a facility, according to the company. The software interfaces with dose calibrators and RIS to create DICOM structured reports and secondary capture files that can be shared with the modality, dose management systems, PACS, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. NumaStatus supports desktop and mobile devices with real-time updates of the patient's status during scheduled procedures.

NumaStatus also provides users with the patient demographics, requested protocol, and radiopharmaceutical information at the location and time of administration.
