Terason debuts uSmart tablet ultrasound system at AIUM

Ultrasound technology firm Terason is launching its uSmart 3200T NexGen tablet ultrasound system at the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) meeting being held March 25-29 in Orlando, FL.

The system's new SuperHarmonic engine offers more powerful imaging with enhanced contrast resolution, Terason said. Additional features include continuous-wave Doppler, ECG capability, a new family of transducers, a 256-GB solid-state hard drive, and a Gorilla Glass touchscreen, according to the firm.

The 3200T system is suited for point-of-care applications such as emergency medicine, anesthesia, critical care, musculoskeletal imaging, and vascular access, Terason said.
