Fuji names Tada president, CEO

Hiroaki Tada has been named the new president and CEO of Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT.

Tada succeeds Makoto Kawaguchi, who was promoted to general manager of the procurement division for Fujifilm in Tokyo.

Tada most recently served as president and CEO of Fujifilm Graphic Systems USA of Valhalla, NY, a position he has held since October 2003. He has been with Fujifilm for more than 35 years.

Tada will oversee all U.S. sales and service for Fujifilm’s Medical Imaging, Science Systems, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) divisions. The responsibility includes global marketing and research and development for Fujifilm’s Synapse PACS and women’s healthcare products.
