Cordis taps Kandzari as CMO

Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Cordis Endovascular has named Dr. David Kandzari as its chief medical officer (CMO).

Kandzari served most recently as the John B. Simpson assistant professor of interventional cardiology and genomic sciences and assistant professor of medicine and molecular genetics and microbiology at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.

In the newly created role of CMO, Kandzari will oversee the clinical and medical affairs activities for the cardiology division of the company, beginning in December, according to Warren, NJ-based Cordis.
