Interventional device developer Boston Scientific has named Chris Japp as vice president and general manager of its cardiovascular imaging business.
In his new role, Japp will lead the strategy formulation, business planning, R&D, and overall business execution for the division's global business unit, according to the Natick, MA-based firm. His immediate focus will be to build on the recent launch of the company's iLab ultrasound imaging system and iLearn intravascular ultrasound education series.
Japp has served as president of Del Medical Systems Group, and has also held positions at St. Jude Medical and GE Healthcare.
