GE taps King as company officer

GE Healthcare has named Laura King as a company officer.

King is currently global vice president of interventional, cardiology, and surgery, and is a 20-year GE veteran, serving in various sales, service, and operational roles during her tenure, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based vendor.

In being named a GE officer, King joins a group of some 180 GE executives at the highest level of the company's corporate management, and is responsible for helping develop the overall strategy of the company.
