Industry veteran Fulton dies

Medical imaging industry veteran James Fulton died on August 21 at the age of 62, according to an article in Crain's Cleveland Business.

Fulton was a major figure in the Ohio healthcare sector, spending 28 years as an executive with Philips Healthcare. His last position at Philips was as senior vice president and general manager of the company's CT division.

Fulton left Philips in 2011 and moved to optical coherence technology developer Imalux as president and chief operating officer, where he spent the next three years. In January 2015, he became CEO-in-residence of BioEnterprise, a Cleveland-based business incubator formed by universities and healthcare providers in Ohio.
