GE Healthcare posted an increase in profit despite flat revenues in its second quarter (end-June 30).
For the quarter, GE had revenues of $4.49 billion, compared with $4.5 billion in the same quarter last year. The company had quarterly profit of $726 million, up from $694 million in the second quarter of 2012.
In other results, U.S. equipment orders grew 9% compared to the same period a year ago, the company said.
