eMed rumored to shuffle management team

Web-based image management provider eMed Technologies has reportedly made top-level management changes, dismissing two longtime executives. eMed president Scott Sheldon and chief technology officer Howard Pinsky are no longer with the firm, according to sources familiar with the situation. An eMed representative did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

The news comes weeks after the Lexington, MA-based vendor decided to withdraw its planned initial public offering (IPO) for the second time owing to stock market conditions. The company's first IPO was planned in 1999, but was pulled later in the year, also due to market conditions.
