Waaser resigns from Agfa

Agfa has announced the resignation of Ernest Waaser, senior vice president and head of medical imaging in North America. Waaser, who joined the Ridgefield Park, NJ-based vendor in early 1999 following its acquisition of Sterling Diagnostic Imaging in early 1999, is leaving to become president and CEO of Hill-Rom, the healthcare operating company of Hillenbrand Industries. A successor for Waaser has not yet been named.
