Picker lands new chief executive

After a six-month search, Picker International of Cleveland has hired a new chief executive to replace long-time CEO Cary Nolan, who left the multimodality vendor earlier this year. Picker's new leader is Fred Parks, previously president and COO of cardiovascular device firm St. Jude Medical of Minneapolis. Parks also served in the medical products division of technology firm EG&G of Wellesley, MA.
