Marconi promotes Chong

Marconi Medical Systems has promoted Eric Chong to managing director of operations in China. He will also serve as a member of the board of directors for Marconi’s Hong Kong-based subsidiary.

In his new post, Chong will be responsible for developing business in the greater China market, which encompasses Hong Kong, the People’s Republic of China, and Taiwan, according to the Cleveland-based firm. Marconi claims to have the second-largest CT market share in China, with an installed base of 450 scanners.
