AI Visualize debuts new software at RSNA 2017

AI Visualize debuted its cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) image analysis and viewing software at RSNA 2017 in Chicago.

The software uses deep-learning algorithms to assess imaging data for diagnostically valuable information that is not apparent through conventional analysis, and it transmits detailed 3D/2D renderings to users on any internet-enabled device. It supports x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, 3D tomosynthesis, and digital pathology images.

The AI software processes images in the AI VoXcell cloud using graphics processing unit technology. It streams information and imaging tools to users, wherever located, in real-time, and it uses predictive buffering. Server-side rendering eliminates the need for onsite graphics processors, supporting off-the-shelf supercomputing infrastructure, the company noted.

The software has 11 international patents, received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance, and is HIPAA-compliant.
