Ziehm features new C-arm line at RSNA 2017

C-arm developer Ziehm Imaging is highlighting its latest C-arm releases at RSNA 2017 in Chicago.

Ziehm is showcasing all the units in the new CMOSline edition: the 31 x 31-cm complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) flat-panel detector for Ziehm Vision RFD 3D, Ziehm Vision RFD hybrid edition, Ziehm Vision RFD, and a 20.5 x 20.5-cm CMOS flat-panel detector for Ziehm Solo FD.

With the CMOSline, Ziehm's SmartDose comes with new beam filtration technology that enables a reduction in skin entrance dose and a lower radiation dose. Ziehm Vision RFD 3D CMOSline includes both 2D and 3D imaging and also now provides two additional volume sizes for specialized applications. A dedicated larger field-of-view with 19.8 x 19.6 x 18.0 cm covers larger anatomical regions with the higher 512 voxel for better resolution without increasing dose levels, Ziehm said. Also, the edge length of 10 x 10 x 10 cm provides an option for zoom-in or intraoperative imaging in cochlear implantations.

The Ziehm Vision RFD Hybrid Edition and Ziehm Vision RFD systems will be showcased with a 31 x 31-cm CMOS detector at RSNA 2017 for the first time. In addition, the Ziehm Solo FD system now features beam filtration technology.
