Kiran Medical debuts DR system at Arab Health

Indian medical device developer Kiran Medical Systems is unveiling its Ultisys digital radiography (DR) system at this week's Arab Health 2017 convention in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Suitable for a wide range of general radiography applications, Ultisys is a floor-mounted x-ray system that offers a wide range of generator power options, from 32 kW to 82 kW, according to the vendor, which is a division of Indian medical firm Trivitron Healthcare. Ultisys is also available with a choice of tethered or wireless flat-panel detectors.

In addition, the system includes an imaging software platform with image processing capabilities, according to the firm. Kiran President Satyaki Banerjee said the company also plans to launch mobile x-ray and digital mammography systems in 2017.
