Designed for general radiography of anatomy, DRive is intended to replace film-screen systems or computed radiography (CR) x-ray systems for all general-purpose diagnostic procedures, according to Quantum.
It provides a 17 x 17-inch fixed panel and a 14 x 17-inch tethered panel, as well as a dual-detector package with a choice of cesium iodide or gadolinium oxysulfide (140 micron) digital detectors, Quantum said. DRive will also come equipped with a 24-inch high-resolution widescreen monitor and a 1-TB RAID 1 hard drive that can store more than 100,000 images, according to the company.
