Toshiba nets NY contract
September 30, 2011 -- Toshiba America Medical Systems said it has won a contract with a New York hospital for 17 of its systems across multiple modalities.

Lourdes Hospital of Binghamton, NY, has installed an Aquilion One CT system, three RadRex-i digital radiographic and two Kalare x-ray systems, and one Xario XG ultrasound unit. Later this year, Lourdes will receive an additional Xario XG, eight Aplio MX ultrasound systems, and an Aquilion Premium CT system, according to Toshiba.
