Radcal debuts x-ray meter
July 26, 2011 -- X-ray measurement technology developer Radcal will release its Accu-Gold diagnostic x-ray multianalyzer meter at the upcoming American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) annual meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Run off a laptop's USB, Accu-Gold can measure, record, and diagnose the performance of all x-ray machines, according to the vendor. It can use solid-state sensors and ion chambers either individually or simultaneously, Radcal said.
Measurements are automatically saved to the laptop's hard drive, and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets are included for data accumulation and reporting, Radcal said.
