Viztek releases Opal-Mammo software

The software combines a Web-based mammography PACS with integrated tracking software, according to the vendor. Opal-Mammo features a multimodality mammography viewer, and the PACS can be integrated with most electronic medical record (EMR) software packages, Viztek said. Web-based dictation and speech recognition is also included.
Practices can establish rules for patient follow-up using Opal-Mammo's tracking software component. Radiologist reports are also tied into the tracking system's follow-up protocols, according to Viztek.
In addition, Opal-Mammo includes the company's turnaround time (TAT) management feature, a custom dashboard that employs color coding and review-time parameters to manage patient priority levels, Viztek said. Opal-Mammo is available as a site license. | |
