The small-footprint system features 13 multifrequency transducers, image optimization tools, a 381-mm XVGA LCD display, two transducer ports, and an integrated power supply, according to the vendor.
The system's 13 multifrequency transducers include specialty laparoscopic and intraoperative probes for interventional procedures and have a range of up to 18 MHz. Siemens has also included image optimization tools such as panoramic imaging, speckle reduction, and spatial compounding.
P300 can handle radiology and general imaging, cardiology imaging, obstetrics and gynecology, and specialties such as musculoskeletal, breast, and small-parts imaging, Siemens said. The company plans to begin shipping the system in July.
