Designed to be flexible enough to operate in many clinical environments, Noblus comes in the form of a laptop PC with an optional cart, according to the vendor. Noblus also features premium capabilities such as its real-time tissue elastography technology, which had previously only been available on larger cart-based systems, Hitachi Aloka said.
Hitachi has included its Ultra BE digital signal circuit for ultrasound processing, as well as support for single-crystal probes. Noblus shipments will begin worldwide following receipt of marketing authorization in individual countries, Hitachi Aloka said.
