The Swedish firm posted net sales of 58.4 million kronor ($8.5 million U.S.) in 2011, up 9% compared with 53.4 million kronor ($7.8 million) in fiscal 2010. Net income was 3.6 million kronor ($528,000) for 2011, compared with a net loss of 3.3 million kronor ($484,000) in 2010.
Most sales continue to be generated from the firm's ultrasound products, which will remain a substantial focus going forward, the company said. U.S. sales in particular began to recover in 2011, and the company experienced strong growth in sales of its leading ultrasound product, GOPiCE, for 3D ultrasound.
