Cephasonics signs Japanese distributor
September 13, 2012 -- Ultrasound technology and subsystems provider Cephasonics has signed a distribution agreement with Altima, a Japanese electronics distributor, the company said.

Altima provides electronic components, subsystems, and software along with technical support to customers in various Japanese industries. It will distribute Cephasonics' ultrasound front-end subsystem and components solutions, Cephasonics said.
Cephasonics late last year released CSK9130, its second-generation ultrasound beamforming front-end system. The system includes the company's AutoFocus technology, according to Cephasonics.
