IBA nets Texas proton therapy order

  • IBA estimated the value of the contract at approximately $50 million, and includes a set of three treatment rooms and image guidance technology. A long-term operation and maintenance agreement is included.

    The facility is a joint venture of Baylor Health Care System and Texas Oncology, as well as healthcare information systems firm McKesson, McKesson Specialty Health, and the US Oncology Network. It is scheduled to open in 2015.
