  • The organization reported that attendance at the Las Vegas confab reached 37,032 attendees as of the morning of February 24, far surpassing the HIMSS 2011 attendance of 31,500 attendees.

The last two years' attendance reflects healthy growth from the 2010 annual meeting, when an estimated 27,800 registrants traveled to Atlanta.

The HIMSS 2009 annual meeting attracted 27,429 total registrants, compared with 29,177 attendees at HIMSS 2008 and 24,202 at HIMSS 2007.
